Program Overview
The 2015 International Humor Conference will be held from Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3. On the morning of June 29, we will have a pre-conference workshop on the art of improvisation organized with BATS Improv. In the afternoon, the Conference will officially open with a general session on Judiciary Humor followed by a roundtable on the art of humor in animation with artists from Pixar Animation Studios and the San Francisco Cartoon Museum. From June 30 through July 3, each conference day will begin with a general session followed by paper sessions, symposia, and workshops. Across the first four evenings, the Conference will host a comedy program with three nights open free to the general public. The Conference will come to a close on Friday, July 3, with the Annual Meeting of the International Society for Humor Studies and the Conference Farewell Dinner.
