The 1999 International Humor Conference in Pictures
The Very Last Session, November 15, 1999
The award-winning comedy troupe of Soft-Frito from Havana, Cuba
was originally scheduled to present and perform at the summer conference.
Due to visa difficulties, their arrival in Oakland was delayed until November, and
on November 15, we held a "final" session of the 1999 International Humor Conference
at which Eleuterio Gonzales Toledo and Geovanni Romero Martinez of Soft-Frito presented
on the Humor Movement in Cuba, and Soft-Frito performed with Conference Workshop
Leader/Performer Doni Tamblyn and Stand-Up Comic Mike Cappozola.
